Boston Massachusetts "Bean Town" - Wicked Awesome City to Visit!

First off let me say that our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of the recent attacks. Our trip took place in the summer of 2012.This was one of the cleanest big city that I have seen we stayed right downtown. We spent 2 days seeing  a lot of the historical sites, walking  through the historical Boston Commons  was awesome.

Down on Newbury street shopping and the food is ever where so much to see.

This place was coming up on Google with a lot of stars so we decided to feed the boys it had been a few days.

Could not find any tofu menu so Amber and I just hung out. The service was really good and the boys had no complaints about the food.

The only vegan place that we could find in walking distance for the hotel was The My Thai Vegan Cafe and this place was truly unreal. The whole menu is Asian vegan it was so close to the real thing we kept asking if it was really vegan the waitress kept assuring us it was. We ended up eating here twice it was that good.

OH BOY its all vegan!!!!!!!

I am a master with chop sticks.

Beef With Vegetables veggie-beef stir-fried with mixed asian vegetables in a mild brown sauces

Pineapple Chicken a half veggie-chicken sauteed with pineapple chunks snow peas, coconut milk, tomatoes, onions, zucchini and red peppers in a yellow curry space

 Happy 4th of July

Coffee is free on the 4th at Starbucks in Boston oh my!!!!
This here was an all vegan food truck called Clover Food Lab, this is my dream job someday. It is very cool to be able to buy vegan fast food on the street where we live there is nothing like this any where close to us.

I went with BBQ seitan and the rosemary fries. The sandwich was good it would of been better if they had marinated the seitan overnight but the fries were like awesome fresh cut sticks of love.

Just walking around checking things out.

This Quincy Market is really just a smaller version of the Reading Term Market that was so crowded from the holiday. It had a lot of food but not many vegan options, if they were there we were not waiting in any of those lines.

They might be able to fly within inches of each other but the cant read road signs ha ha. Only joking if you ever get a chance to go to any air show go The Blue Angles are unreal you will not be disappointed.

The boys wanted some pizza and Google said that Regina Pizza was close and very highly rated. The service was fast and very nice no vegan options but the boys said it was great pizza.

After watching the boys we got the hankering for something good so we found our way  back towards our  hotel and ended up back at The My Thai Vegan Cafe for lunch.

Fried Wontons (6) ground veggie-chicken, tofu, mushrooms, ground vegetables and spices wrapped in wheat flour and fried until crisp. served with our own savory dipping sauce

Pineapple Fried Rice stir-fried rice with thai curry, veggie-shrimp and veggie-chicken, dried mushrooms, bean sprouts, pineapple and mixed vegetables but she had the hold the veggie shrimp.

Nuer Penang (Beef Penang) veggie-beef sauteed in a spicy panang curry with zucchini, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, mushrooms, baby corn, basil, onions, red peppers and green beans.

After our late lunch then back to the hotel to freshen up rest for a bit the go see some fireworks down by the river. Along the way I got hungry (surprised uh) so google found us this place.

This place is NOT one to pass up, boloco knows what the hell is going on they get the fact some people in the world like a nice vegan option and their tofu was awesome I was very happy with place.

 Damn that was good!!!!!

Amber and the boys got the smoothies and they loved them.

We wanted to be right down by Charles River  to see the fireworks for the The 4 of July so we found a good spot and we waited. Within 15 min of waiting they announced that there was an emergency evacuation because of the storm coming and they have a 3 hour delay for the fireworks,  everyone started to leave so did we with the thunder and lighting behind us we were high stepping to get back to the hotel. No sooner did we get back in the room to turn the tv on to see that the fireworks were back on so we watched them on the tv. It only down poured for a couple of minutes we would have been soaked and walking back to hotel. All and all Boston is a MUST see city full of so much you could easily spend a week here and never get bored.
